Chair Plastic Base

The chair plastic base, often referred to as the seat plate, is a key component that connects the seat, gas lift, and adjustment mechanism of an office chair. Because many functional parts are attached to it, the strength and structural stability of the chair plastic base play an important role in how smoothly the chair operates.

This component is typically produced using engineering plastics such as reinforced nylon or PP with glass fiber. Through one-piece injection molding, multiple mounting positions can be integrated into a single structure, including the tilt mechanism connection, armrest fixing points, seat mounting holes, and the gas lift sleeve. This integrated design helps reduce assembly tolerance issues and improves the overall rigidity of the chair structure.

During the design stage, the position of the tilt pivot and load-bearing areas are carefully arranged so that the chair plastic base can support common adjustment functions such as reclining and seat movement. Wear-resistant contact surfaces are also considered in the structure to help keep the adjustment process smoother and reduce unnecessary noise during use.

Before mass production, the chair plastic base design normally goes through structural evaluation and functional testing. These steps help confirm that the component can handle repeated movement and daily load requirements, ensuring stable performance when installed in finished office chairs.
